Terms of Service

Canu AI is a product operated by Optinewsai LLC, doing business as Canu AI (“Canu”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Canu website, workspace, MCP endpoint, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your workspace.

You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service only for lawful business purposes.

Canu can connect to third-party systems such as Stripe, QuickBooks, Xero, Brex, AWS, HubSpot, Slack, and OpenAI. You are responsible for having the right to connect those systems and for the scopes you grant.

Your use of a third-party system remains subject to that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services.

Canu analyzes connected financial data and surfaces findings, forecasts, and recommended actions. Canu does not execute financial changes without an explicit approval from an authorized user.

Outputs are informational. Canu is not a bank, broker, accountant, auditor, tax adviser, or investment adviser, and nothing produced by the Service is financial, legal, or tax advice. You remain responsible for every decision you make.

Do not misuse the Service. That includes reverse engineering it, probing or breaching security controls, reselling access, uploading unlawful content, interfering with other customers, or using the Service to build a competing product.

We may suspend access if usage threatens the integrity, security, or availability of the Service.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

You retain ownership of the data you or your connections provide. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Each party will protect the other’s non-public information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms.

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may deprecate functionality with reasonable notice where it materially affects you.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete or return your data in line with the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in-product before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
