An action is the executable form of an opportunity. Actions declare the connection they use, the scope they need, and the expected effect.
Action lifecycle
- Prepared — built and validated, not yet authorized.
- Approved — authorized by a person or an approval rule.
- Executed — performed through the connected tool.
- Verified — confirmed on the next sync.
An action that lacks the required write scope stays in Prepared and tells you exactly which permission is missing.
