A good goal has a target, a horizon, and constraints. Canu treats constraints as hard boundaries, not preferences.

Target:      15 months of runway by Q3
Constraints: no layoffs, growth spend intact
Approval:    anything above $2,000

Good vs. vague goals

• Good: "Cut $30K/month of non-payroll spend by September."
• Good: "Reach 18 months of runway without reducing marketing."
• Vague: "Save money." Canu will ask for a target and constraints.

You can change a goal at any time. Canu re-plans against the new target and keeps the old goal in your audit history.
